When it comes to my family lunches, sandwiches are one of our favorite things to eat. I am so happy to be teaming up with Foster Farms
to bring you this sweet and savory recipe!
The most important ingredient to this simple recipe is the meat. I have tried several brands and have always come back to Foster Farms All Natural Sliced Turkey
. Not only is it the best tasting turkey, but also the healthiest. Foster Farms Slow Oven Roasted Turkey Breast
is the healthier choice with 35% less sodium than other meats – without compromising the great taste! As a mom, I want to give my family the best meat that is high in protein and low in fat. I trust Foster Farms
because I know they are all natural and do not use any chemicals or preservatives in their products.
So with that said, let’s get into the recipe.
Here are the ingredients you’ll need:
- Foster Farms All Natural Sliced Turkey
- cranberry sauce
- red onion
- provolone cheese
- wheat bread
Spread the cranberry sauce on one slice of bread and the mayonnaise to the other slice. I really like the cranberry and turkey taste so I like to use a lot of cranberry sauce and a little bit of mayo, but my husband is the complete opposite, he likes only a little cranberry sauce and a lot of mayo. Try different amounts to find the combination that tastes best to you!
Build your sandwich by adding Foster Farms Turkey slices
, lettuce, tomato, cheese, avocado and red onion slices. Now, if you’re picky about your sandwiches, you know that the arrangement of the ingredients makes or breaks the taste of the sandwich. Because I love the taste of turkey and cranberry, I always put the turkey slices right next to the cranberry sauce – yum, it reminds me of Thanksgiving.
When you’re done making your sandwich, serve with your favorite fruits, veggies or snacks.
