Today my good friend Rosie is guest blogging for me. She is a mom of 3 so I consider her to be a pro-mommy in my book. I hope you enjoy this post by her and I'll catch you tomorrow!
Hey Everyone! I'm Rosie!
While I love looove the newborn stage and the time I get nursing and cuddling with my sweet babe, let's be real, mom brain is no joke. And if there's someone out there who can do a little extra thinking on my behalf to make my life (which is also kept busy by a wild 3yo and almost 5yo) a little easier, i'm all in!
When I heard about these Munchkin latch products, I had to give them a try. Right away I appreciated the design on the bottle, and how it was designed to mimic nursing with the shape, texture and accordion nipple that allows it to move back and forth. It also has the anti-colic valve that keeps out the air bubbles, meaning less spit up which is always a win in my book.
Another of my favs was the bottle brush because one of my most dreaded things about the newborn stage is the pumping and cleaning of all the bottles and awkwardly shaped parts. Just last week I was using my usual cleaning brush that is slightly ill-fitting and ended up getting straight sprayed in the face with water. Not fun. This Munchkin latch pump brush with the contoured head and little brush that fit into the base makes cleaning so much more quick and effortless.
Let's talk about the Munchkin latch sterilize bags next. something about putting water into a baggie and into the microwave has always made me nervous so I stuck with the old school huge pot of boiling water cleaning method. Never again! These bags are seriously so convenient and the cool-touch grip and spout to empty the water definitely helped win me over.
I can't wait to use some of their other products because the peeps out in Munchkin latch headquarters are clearly looking out for us tired, busy mamas so we can enjoy more of the joys of motherhood without worrying about some of these not so fun routines. Thanks Munchkin!
