LIFE: Our First Toddler Weekend Getaway

Hi Everyone!

As most of you already know, my family and I took a trip to Westlake Village for a weekend getaway with Four Seasons to attend their 'Let it Snow' event.  We had so much fun at their annual holiday event - you can read more about it here, but today I wanted to share a few images from our stay at the Four Seasons Westlake Village. 

Upon check in we were greeted with champagne and warm smiles.  Our room was friendly and inviting with a chocolate basket as well as a personalized robe with Rylie. 

We couldn't wait to get into their body temperature kid-friendly pool.  It was so wonderful to not have to worry about the sun!  The pool had float toys and hot chocolate for everyone!



Of course, we couldn't pass up Sushi so we stopped into Onyx for some delicious hamachi and rolls.. They also had a yummy kid-friendly bento box  with rice and chicken teriyaki for Rylie.



Rylie had so much fun running on the game field that is located behind the hotel.  The hotel provides all kinds of outdoor games for you and your family to enjoy.



Hubby and I took a quick stop to the beautiful Wine Bar conveniently located inside the hotel while Rylie was napping.



We stuffed our bellies at their breakfast buffet!  They literally had every breakfast item you can think of!  And of course, they had a separate buffet area just for kids that was full of every kid favorite breakfast food!


No morning is complete without a sip of caffeine from their Stir Cafe. I absolutely love the modern and chic decor.

Room service was right on time for our last morning.

Packing up to leave was hard b/c we wanted to stay longer!  Every staff member was so kind and friendly. Even Rylie got a lot of 'hellos' and smiles.   I have to be honest and tell you that I was a little worried about how Rylie would do... Westlake Village is such a beautiful hotel for everyone!  Grown adults can enjoy the luxurious spa and adult only pool for a romantic stay and if yore traveling with kids, then consider this place the best pick! I didn't have to worry about anything!  There is so much to do on the property!  One thing I wanted to mention is that they also have a game/arcade room and a movie room with complimentary popcorn!  SCORE!
