Last week I took my first trip to Napa with my friend, Kathleen of
Carriebradshawlied.com. We had a crazy morning and almost missed our flight (literally running through the airport) but an hour flight and a cocktail later we arrived in Wine Country where we checked into the beautiful
Meritage Resort.
We walked around the stunning hotel at sunset and I couldn't believe how amazing the view was! After taking a few photos, we headed to dinner at Siena Restaurant where I had a delicious Gummy Bear Cocktail - whoever thought of that is pure genius! It was such a lovely evening where we shared blogger stories of the good the bad the ugly and the real cray cray hahaha... But seriously though, I had such a great time just catching up with my friend and hearing about her life.
I am thankful for the opportunities I get through blogging but one thing I'm most grateful for is making good friends. It's so hard to find genuine friends in this crazy world where everyone just wants to get ahead and will talk crap behind your back but smile to your face but if you are patient enough - you'll find a rare and precious pearl.
