I've never been a nature girl so when we decided to go to Joshua Tree I was a bit hesitant. I'm so happy I pushed through because it was actually a lot of fun and the sights were amazing and it just goes to show that if I can do it, ANYONE can do it! If you've never been, I highly recommend it!
We spent most of the morning hiking through the Arch Rock area and the afternoon at the Jumbo Rocks.
Stopped by the Cactus Garden
The stars are AMAZING!!! You get a clear shot of everything in the sky!
The next day we drove by Palm Springs and stopped at the popular Pink Door.
Then we drove another hour out to visit the majestic Salvation Mountain.
On our drive back home we stopped by the Salton Sea to snap a photo of the beautiful blue water.
If you're wondering where we stayed and where we ate - I don't have any interesting recommendations. We stayed at a local airbnb near Joshua Tree on the first night and I packed up some food for lunch and dinner. The next day we ate food that I again brought from home and stopped by cheesecake factory for lunch before heading home. Because this was such a short trip, I didn't want to spend a lot of time at fussing over what to eat and I'm so happy we did that because every moment spent at each destination was well worth it.
